Hi! My name is Megan Scott and I’m happy to have this space to share recipes with you from my kitchen in the Outer Banks of North Carolina, where I live with my husband, Joey, and my 12-year-old dog, Caesar. I cook every day because I love it and I’m a freelance writer with a food column appearing in The Coast magazine and online. Together with my mom, I own The Spice & Tea Exchange of Duck, N.C. – a retail shop where we make custom spice blends and carry tons of delicious spices, salts, peppers, teas, and more. These beautiful ingredients inspire my recipes but I will always tell you what to substitute when necessary in case you don’t want or can’t get what I’m using.
